The Team – Wotton-Under-Edge

Phil Loughnane	DENTISTS Phil Loughnane BDS DPDS Phil qualified from Manchester in 1993, and gained his postgraduate Diploma in 1997 from Bristol. He has a preventative approach and tailors treatment to patient’s individual needs. He has experience of working in a mercury free practice, a prison and the children’s department of Bristol Dental Hospital.
Tim Rodger	Tim Rodger BSc (Hons) BDS Tim qualified from Manchester University in 2004 and completed his Vocational Training year here in 2005. His warm manner and high standard of clinical treatment led to him staying at Chipping Manor as an associate.
David Stephens	David Stephens BDS Dave qualified from the University of Wales College of Medicine in 2005. He has a patient friendly approach and stayed at Chipping Manor as an association when his Vocational Training was complete.
Manisha Mehendale	Manisha Mehendale BDS MFDS Manisha graduated in 1998 from Shivaji University, India. She worked in practice in India for 2 years before moving to the UK. She gained her postgraduate diploma from the Royal College of Physicians - Glasgow. She believes in a preventative approach to practice.
	Russell Heyleur BDS Russell qualified from Liverpool in 1965. He has over thirty years experience of providing high quality preventative dentistry to the people of Wotton-under-Edge. Russell provides all orthodontic treatment for the practice.
	ORTHODONTIST Christian Day BDS, MFDS, MSc,MOrth,FDS(Orth) Christian completed his dentist training at the University of Bristol. Subsequently, he specialised in orthodontics at The Royal London Hospital and completed his Orthodontic Consultant training in Bristol and Bath. Christian currently works as a consultant in Bristol Dental School, Frenchay and Southmead hospitals
Donn	HYGIENIST Donna Cline EDH Donna qualified from Bristol Dental Hospital in 1987. She works closely with the dentists to provide a comprehensive preventative oral hygiene service to keep your teeth and gums healthy. She was nominated for Hygienist of the Year by patients of Chipping Manor THERAPIST Kerry Smith Dip DHT Kerry graduated as a therapist from Sheffield University, where she gained an award for professionalism. She has spent eight years in the dental profession, four of which were spent with the Royal Navy. She is committed to high quality dental care, and believes in putting her patients at ease with her open, approachable patient-focused manner.
	BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER Shaenna Loughnane BSc, PG.DipCouns Shaenna graduated in 1994 with a Business Management degree. She worked as a Personnel and Training Manager before moving into the dental business in 2001. She is a member of the British Dental Practice Managers Association and also works as a consultant for the British Dental Association Good Practice Scheme .
	PRACTICE MANAGER Alison Chomette BSc Alison graduated in 1994 with a Hotel Management degree. She worked as a Restaurant Manager in London before moving to the South West to start a family.She believes strongly in the team approach to business success, CLINICAL MANAGER Pam Parslow RDN LCGI Pam is a qualified registered Dental Nurse who brings 25 years of experience to the team. She co-ordinates our infection control strategy alongside all surgeries and nurses between the two practices PRACTICE ADMINISRATOR Jo Derham Jo worked for Orange for 10 years and was involved in their internal corporate strategy. She works as support for the whole team and has particular responsibility for Corporate Social responsibility .
	Oral Health Educators Hannah Wakefield RDN, Chris Hussell RDN They work alongside the dentists in promoting oral health on a one to one basis with patients.
	Nurse Radiographers – Wendy Farr RDN Angela Heaphy RDN, Ali Wilks RDN, Pam Parslow RDN These nurses have completed a further qualification in radiography, enabling them to take patient x-rays.
	Dental Nurses, Victoria McKay RDN, Gemma Pollard RDN, Sarah Davis BSc, Jo Paget, Angela Iles All of our nurses are qualified and registered (RDN) or are working towards this. They are all registered with the GDC. They are all here to help you relax and assist the dentist in providing efficient treatment. They are all keen on continuing with their professional development and often attend training courses to gain further qualifications .
	RECEPTIONISTS Senior Receptionist – Melanie Davies Mel has been at Chipping Manor for 4 years and manages the day to day patient contact and the smooth running of our appointment book..
	Karen Simmons Fran McCubbin Gill Stanulewicz Our receptionists are here to make your visit to Chipping Manor as relaxed and informative as possible. They all work to a high level of customer care and will be your first contact with us .
	CLEANERS Hazel Wright Kirsty Hiles Hazel and Kirsty work to a high standard of cleanliness.

Andrew Walker BDS
Since qualifying from Bristol Dental School in 1997, Andrew has gained considerable experience as an associate in both NHS and private practice. This experience is coupled with a reassuring and professional manner and a high standard of clinical care. Having settled in the area three years ago, Andrew is delighted to be joining Chipping Manor’s Cirencester practice

Andrew is taking on the responsibility of clinical lead..

Mike Farmer BDS

Mike graduated from Liverpool University in 1978. He has worked in a number of locations in Gloucestershire, including 22 years running his own practice in Cheltenham. His calm, gentle manner creates a relaxing and friendly atmosphere in the surgery.

Diana Woodward EDH

Diana is a very experienced hygienist, having spent many years in General Practice, the Community Dental Service and the RAF. Diana is a keen advocate for the benefits good oral hygiene can bring, and her enthusiasm has led to her being a judge for the prestigious “Dentistry” Awards. She is a regular contributor to Dentistry Magazine, where her warm sense of humour shines through her column.

Ian and Fay are responsible for the day to day running of the practice. Their combined backgrounds in Theatre Management and the dental industry is a great addition to the team
